Whiteley Nursery

Our nursery is located in Whiteley, Hampshire, near a motorway junction on the edge of a large residential area with adjoining business parks serving our local community and business employees.

Comprising of light and cosy age appropriate playrooms each with adjoining nappy and/or toilet facilities over two levels and a refurbished outdoor play with its diverse areas of role play, grassy banks, adventure trails including climbing opportunities, communal grass areas, woodlands, quarries, water and sand play.

The welfare and happiness of our children is our principal care. To this end we embrace a keycarer system that will see your child’s individual needs met within a safe and secure environment by an adult that has formed those special key bonds.

We embody an ethos of learning through play where every child’s imagination can be set free to explore and develop, following the lines of enquiry that are significant to them at this moment in time, embracing the uniqueness of each child. We also operate a program of additional activities including music from Rhythmajig, visiting animals from the Zoolab, yoga, French and baby sign.

We work in partnership with all of our parents and carers through active PTA events and many avenues of communication. Through these relationships we are able to support and celebrate the developments of all the children.

The nursery employs dedicated full and part-time childcare staff qualified up to NVQ Level 7 in Early Years. The nursery also benefits from a qualified and experienced cook and kitchen assistant who freshly prepare all meals on-site daily using menus devised by a nutritionist to provide the children with a balance of protein, vegetable and carbohydrates needed to sustain growth and development.
