Kiddi Caru goes Continental

Staff from Kiddi Caru day nurseries across the UK have spent a day learning French to then introduce to the children in their care.

Introducing French to children at a young age has many benefits; it builds confidence, expands vocabulary and helps children gain an understanding of geography and the culture of a different country. Teaching French complements the pre-school foundation stage, encouraging mathematical and logical skills along with developing good listening skills.

The team from Kiddi Caru were taught by Valerie Askins from La Jolie Ronde who designed a programme that stimulated enthusiasm for language learning which they will pass on to the children.
